In 2022 NamPower obtained the Environmental Clearance Certificate for the operation and maintenance of the Gerus Transmission Station. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the renewal of the ECC for the Gerus Transmission Station to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations.

In 2020 NamPower obtained the Environmental Clearance Certificate for the management and operation of the Mariental - Gibeon transmission line. NamPower would therefore like to apply for the renewal of the ECC for Mariental - Gibeon line to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations. This ECC also includes Gibeon Substation.

The powerlines from this reticulation system run from Karas T-off substation southwards to Karasburg Substation, Karasburg area, Warmbad substation and various supply points in //Karas region.

This transmission line runs from Aranos substation to Stampriet substation in Hardap region and is 76.9 km in length. The line is constructed with wooden H - Pole structures.

The 11kV Aus - Aus power line is 16.9 km in length.

NamPower would therefore like to apply for the renewal of the ECC for 132kV Kokerboom - Namib line in order to comply with the Environmental Management Act (Act 7 of 2007) and its regulations.
