Calculated from Figure 6.17 and Figure 6.01 by creating a buffer of 10 km around all medical facilities and summing all

compilation:

people within the buffered areas. All calculations are based on the provision of services by the government and

government-subsidised facilities. There are about 650 beds in private hospitals. Private facilities do not add significantly

to improved access since almost all these private facilities are in densely populated areas where people have access to

nearby government facilities.
