Survey and Mapping. The following Map Projection was used in the capture (by digitising) of the farms: |

The farms were classified into the Geographical Database using the key structure as prescribed by the Ministry of Survey |

and Mapping. The positional accuracy is between 50m and 250m. |

The original dataset of QGIS now belongs to DSM. Several versions are in existence which are identical in terms of |
|
|
shapes/boundaries but which have additional or revised attribute fields (e.g. Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural |
|
|
Development (Marina Coetzee) have a version (and copyright) with ownership up to date to 1998 from the Deeds |
|
|
Office). |
