Created from several sources: the Caprivi arm was taken from the Caprivi profile data set slightly adjusted so that the

compilation:

boundary ran through the centre of the rivers. The eastern country borders were created from co-ordinates. The

northern country boundary was taken from the North Central profile data set and marginally altered to run through all

surveyed beacons. The remainder of the country borders come from an older version of the constituencies map obtained

from the Surveyor General. This original constituencies shapefile was amended and corrected to the current

constituencies boundaries using the government gazette and farm shapefile (see Fig 5.32).

Positional Accuracy:

1:100 000 scale; 50 - 250 m positional accuracy i.e. the same as Fig 5.32 as this was used in the creation of the

constituencies shapefile
