the Carnivore Atlas Project in early 2001. This project is ongoing and significant amounts of data have been collected

since then. Contact Flip Stander for information or updated data. Derived by overlaying maps of individual carnivore

species (4.47 - 4.52), adding up the number of species occurring and smoothing the final map.
