This is a polyline shapefile derived from the Namibia polygon shapefile (fig 1.01). Created from several sources: the

compilation:

Caprivi arm was taken from the Caprivi profile data set slightly adjusted so that the boundary ran through the centre of

the rivers. The eastern borders were created from co-ordinates. The northern boundary was taken from the North

Central profile data set and marginally altered to run through all surveyed beacons. The remainder of the shapefile

comes from an older version of the constituencies map obtained from the Surveyor General.
