Used as a definitive border map for all shapefiles in the atlas. Created from several sources: the Caprivi arm was taken

compilation:

from the Caprivi profile data set slightly adjusted so that the boundary ran through the centre of the rivers. The eastern

borders were created from co-ordinates. The northern boundary was taken from the North Central profile data set and

marginally altered to run through all surveyed beacons. The remainder of the shapefile comes from an older version of

the constituencies map obtained from the Surveyor General.
