Abstract:
ECC is for the construction of two precision entry lights (PELs) in the Port of Walvis Bay, Namibia. The PELs are navigational aids for ships entering the port. The PELs will be mounted on two masts strategically positioned to ensure optimal coverage of the southern channel. Each PEL uses advanced light-emitting diode (LED) sector technology, projecting different coloured lights to indicate safe passage, thus aiding in the precise navigation of vessels. The PELs will be at a height of 30 meters above chart datum.
